Tag Aquaracer 2000 for the Demanding Diver

tag aquaracer 2000 The timeless Tag Aquaracer 2000 series, introduced in 1982, is designed with the professional diver in mind.

Like all Tag Heuer watches, the Tag Aquaracer 2000 blends accuracy and great performance with prestige styling and rugged functionality.

Some of the features that make it ideal for diving and other water sports include:

  • steel case (41mm wide and 10mm thick) featuring a marine blue dial protected by a scratch resistant sapphire window
  • water resistant to 300 meters/990 feet
  • strong triple link bracelet strap with a double safety clasp and diver extension
  • unidirectional rotating bezel made from polished aluminium and featuring large, clear numbers, for ease of use in reduced visibility
  • luminescent coating on the hands, bezel and indexes for improved viewing in dark conditions, especially underwater
  • precise Swiss quartz movement
  • double seal and screw down caseback

As well as meeting some rigorous standards for divers needs, this Tag Aquaracer 2000 also stands up to exacting standards of style demanded of all Tag Heuer watches. Small touches like the engraved diver’s helmet on the back of the case and the traditional Tag logo on the face all add to the watch’s cachet and wearability for any occasion.

Excellent watch but i think the Tag look / style now looks a little dated. The look is something you should expect from Tag Heuer but I’m getting fed up with it.

    Nice post!

My TAG looks and feels fine. It’s super accurate and still turns heads. I wish it had a day to the date calender. That’s my only gripe.
