So, what on earth inspired me to write a blog about the Tag Aquaracer range? Why do I love Aquaracer watches so much?
I have always loved watches. There is something so amazing about all those intricate mechanics being able to tell the time with such accuracy. It’s also about the designs. I remember seeing my first Swatch watch as a kid and thinking it was the most incredibly cool thing a person could wear on their wrist!
Naturally, my tastes have become a little more expensive over the years, but my love of watches is not limited to just the Tag Aquaracer. I can spend hours standing at a jewellers window looking at all the new styles. My brother also shares my love of watches and has created quite a collection of Vintage watches over the past 15 years. He is an antique furniture dealer, but at almost every auction he seems to pick up another watch.
As a child I was quite the tomboy and wanted to have a chunky, masculine looking watch with a cool dial (I didn’t know what those dials on the bezel were for back then) that could be worn underwater. As I got older I became a bit more girly in my tastes and started to look for more elegant designs in my watches.
That’s what’s so appealing about the Tag Aquaracer range for women. It combines the practicality of a sports watch with the accuracy and precision of a quality timepiece, but doesn’t sacrifice the design in order to achieve these results. It manages to be feminine and stylish while suggesting that the wearer is adventurous and practical.
My current favorite in the women’s range at the moment is this Tag Aquaracer Mother of Pearl Dial Diamond watch. Such a simple design but with all those wonderful diamonds adding a real touch of glamour.
